Hi friends!

It’s been a full, beautiful week around the studio, filled with creating artwork, family time at the lake, and a lot of excitement and inspiration for what’s ahead. Here’s a peek into what’s been happening behind the scenes...

Finished: The Humpback Whale Piece

I am so, so excited that the Humpback Whale piece has been finished! It feels a little weird for me to say, but I am so proud of how this one came together and am really looking forward to completing the other two pieces in this collection. This piece took hours, and it's all done using only 3 colors....which can be difficult when you're trying to communicate movement, depth, and peace.

This painting is going to be quite versatile, it will be part of a larger Coastal nursery series but it’s rich and detailed enough to hold its own as a bold, standalone focal piece for anyone who loves coastal or marine-inspired decor.Ā

✨ Bonus: We’re also releasing matching wallpaper to pair with this Coastal collection! Seeing the artwork translated into full wall patterns has been such a dream, and I can't wait to see how you style it in your homes.

Lake Days, Family, & "Southern Freshwater" Progress

Outside of the studio, we just got back from a 4-day trip to Lake Martin (Alabama), and my heart is so full. We had the absolute best time together, and it was so sweet getting to watch Caedon and how much he loves the lake.

Being out on the water, surrounded by quiet nature, was exactly the reset I needed. Nature has a way of recharging my creative energy and resetting me in a way nothing else can.Ā

In fact, the beauty of the lake gave me the motivation I needed to jump back into my "Southern Freshwater" fish piece. This piece is a large 16" x 20" and it’s taking forever to finish, but this time at the lake reminded me why I started it in the first place.Ā

Investing in my Growth: Mindset & Business Training

Next week, I’m stepping away from my art making and computer work for a bit to attend some additional business training.

If you’ve been following along for a while, you know I am a huge believer in personal growth and working on yourself—therapy has been a foundational part of my life for years and years. But this year, I made a conscious decision to attend additional & more targeted business trainings.

As an entrepreneur and a business leader, investing in myself directly translates into serving this community, my team, my family, and my business better. I'm really looking forward to soaking in new tools and perspectives.

Italy Residency Countdown: 1 Month (whatttt?!?)! šŸ‡®šŸ‡¹

I can hardly believe I’m typing these words, but my Italy art residency is officially just ONE month away!

The reality is finally setting in. I’ve officially started building out my packing lists, organizing my travel art supplies, and putting the final logistical plans into place. It feels completely surreal, and I cannot wait to take you all along on this journey with me. I think the most surreal part is that I'll be doing this alongside my family--what an absolute dream.

Thank you as always for being here, supporting my work, and sharing in these milestones with me.

With love,

Amanda
