I hope summer’s been kind to you so far. Around here, we’ve been soaking it in—poolside popsicles, scooter rides in our neighborhood, sidewalk chalk in the driveway, and lots of time just being together (I really am trying to cherish these moments). Caedon is on a two-week school break, so I’ve been doing my best to match his energy… which is a little like trying to keep up with a race car. (Seriously—he pretends to be a race car most days, complete with engine noises & lots of speed.)

We took a trip to Wilmington, NC to see family, and one of the highlights was taking the ferry from Fort Fisher to Southport—Caedon absolutely loved it. We also snuck in a little beach time and went crabbing at Oak Island with my aunt and uncle. I think I’m slowly collecting moments that feel like summer used to when we were kids—unhurried and bright.

In the studio, June brought something special: I released my NC Coastal Lighthouse Series—a collection rooted in beauty, memory, and connection. It felt so meaningful to create artwork that not only resonated with me, but also sparked something in so many of you. That connection—that shared love for the coast—meant more than I can say.

I also made some art just for me. Just paint, the woods, and a little space to listen to my own creative voice again. I am hoping to launch these in July or August, and I'll be selling them not only as prints but I'll be offering originals, too.

Business-wise, I’ve still been making some shifts—away from travel and the pressure to release new product types every few months. Instead, I’m focusing more on what feels true to me: fine art prints, canvases, and a slower, more intentional rhythm. It’s not always easy in a season that feels heavy for so many small businesses, but I’m learning to trade hustle for presence.
We also kicked off our July 4th Sale this week if you’re in a shopping mood! It's our biggest sale of the year.
Thanks for following along, for cheering me on, and for supporting this creative life that keeps evolving.
With gratitude,
Amanda

Just checking to see if you wanted to do the market at Vestavia Hills Methodist Church. Nov. 13-14. 5-7 on Thursday and 9-4 on Friday. Booth fee $100.00. I told you about this at the Finley Center last year. You and my daughter made fun of me for how long it was taking me to pick out my note cards.
