As the warm days of summer roll in, we’ve been soaking up the sunshine—and slowing down a bit to savor what truly matters.

May was a beautiful blend of family, creativity, and clarity. We kicked things off with a much-needed family vacation to Mexico. Sunshine, salty breezes, and a few unforgettable scuba dives reminded me how much I love painting the beauty of the sea. Something about watching ocean waves and seeing sea life swim around tend to calm my soul in so many ways and help rejuvenate my creativity.

Saying no to burnout and yes to home. One big decision this month? I turned down additional work travel. It wasn’t easy at all, but it is the right decision. I want to be here for my child, to slow the pace, to refocus on what I do best, and to say goodbye (at least for now) to some things that were creating a lot of stress. Life’s too short to miss the moments that matter.

North Carolina Coastal Lighthouses

In the studio: lighthouse love + new launches. Behind the scenes, we’ve been busy finishing up our North Carolina Lighthouse Series! These coastal-inspired fine art prints and notecards are full of charm and meaning, and we hope to launch them next month. They’re especially close to my heart and I can’t wait to share them with you. I've also found a manufacturer to help us launch stitched notebooks, as a notebook junkie I'm kinda in love with them.

Also worth a little happy dance: we shipped a major wholesale order to Petco this month! (Yes, that Petco! 🐾) We're honored to get our designs into more hands—and homes—across the country.

Coming soon: garden flags! Our garden flag samples arrived and they’re so good. If all goes to plan, they’ll officially launch in August—just in time to spruce up your garden or porch before fall.

And on a more personal note, we’re gearing up to celebrate my grandmother’s 102nd birthday in June. Can you believe it? She’s an absolute treasure and reminds me daily that joy and resilience can live side-by-side.

Lastly, I’ve been leaning more into what lights me up creatively: nature-themed fine art prints. Quiet forest scenes, gentle florals, and wild landscapes—pieces that feel soulful, timeless, and peaceful.

Here’s to summer: slower days, family & friends time, and making space for what matters most.

Thank you for being here, for reading, for cheering us on. We’re so glad you’re part of this little creative corner of the world. 💛🎨
